We use our knowledge of local issues to identify areas of need, then apply our expertise and diverse perspectives to the problem. Our Rotary members are most likely at work in your community right now feeding the hungry, tutoring children, maintaining parks, and more. You can help.

 

 

 

The Utah Crisis Food Response offers free food assistance and delivery for our community members in need. 

There is a great need for drivers every Wednesday at 10:30am in Salt Lake City to pick up food boxes from the pantry and deliver to those in isolation.

When you sign up to make a delivery, the volunteer coordinator will text the number you listed with the information for the delivery. This text message will typically come on a Monday or Tuesday evening before the Wednesday delivery.

Then, as a volunteer, you will arrive at the Earth Community Gardens Food Pantry (1102 W 400 N, SLC, UT 84116), Wednesday at 11:30 am. A food box will be placed in your car for a client in need, after which you will deliver the food box to their home. You may be asked to deliver up to three food boxes to more than one client. Clients live in Salt Lake and Davis counties. You will be contacted Tuesday evening via text or email by the volunteer coordinator with client information and addresses.
